Pledge to Net Zero – 2023 Carbon Emissions Report
In line with our commitment to climate action, Catalyst made the Pledge to Net Zero in 2023 and committed to the following;
- Set and commit to delivering greenhouse gas reductions in line with Science Based Targets’ 1.5°C climate change scenario.
- Publicly report greenhouse gas emissions and progress against this target each year.
- Publish one piece of research/thought leadership each year on practical steps to delivering an economy in line with climate science and in support of net zero carbon.
Our 2023 carbon footprint exercise indicates a 4% increase in our total greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions compared to our baseline emissions in 2022. Although our overall GHG emissions increased, the total CO2 equivalent (tCO2) emissions per employee fell by 17% as the company headcount grew by 25%.
